RPAH Family Room
We lost Jeff Truman on December 2, 2014. He suffered a massive bleed to his brain stem.
His family and friends spent 48 hours in a Family room in ICU at RPAH as organ donation was coordinated.
8 people who never knew Jeff had their lives changed by this.
Jeff’s daughter Grace, and good friend Barbara discussed during this time coming back to the Family Room and making it better for future families in situations such as theirs. They wanted the room to be more comfortable and consoling. Their plan has been realised and the room has had a substantial makeover thanks to a lot of help from friends.
The room is now dedicated to Jeff. A beloved father, husband and friend, as well as talented writer and actor.
